What is the cancellation policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We are happy to make any changes we can, but because we are small group tours, we are unable to process a refund if it’s within 24 hours of the tour.

What if I miss my flight/my flight is cancelled/delayed/I miss the tour for any other reason?

Because we are small group tours and would have to turn other bookings away, we are still unable to refund a tour cancelled within 24 hours. However, we are happy to provide you with documentation to present to your travel insurance to recieve compensation that way.

Do the tours still run if there is bad weather?

Yes! The tours will run each day on schedule, rain or shine. Make sure to be prepared for what the weather may bring – whether that’s sunscreen or an umbrella (or both!)

What if I am late?

We recommend arriving a few minutes early so you don’t miss any of the introduction. We will remain at the start point for 5 minutes after the tour’s starting time. If you’ll be later than that, we would advise you to join the next tour.

Who will my tour guide be?

Walks 101 tour guides are all experienced guides who have lead tours all over the world, from Europe and beyond. Your guide may be a local or an international, but all of them will share their passion for the city they love and take you on a journey through history until today.

Our guides change on a daily basis, so each tour may have a different one. We can however ensure that each of them are fantastic! Read more about Walks 101 Guides here. 

Who else will be on my tour?

Our tours proudly host both locals and internationals, and provide a phenomenal space to bridge both age and background gaps. You may be on tour with backpackers from around the world, locals from just down the road, pensioners on overseas trips, or nationals exploring different parts of their own country.

Tours like ours are a great way to meet people from different walks of life from around the world – we encourage it!
